Harold, I'm not sure just what the set-up looks like on a SC/360 Hornet as
I've only seen two of them first hand and only one of the owners would let me
inspect his interior.  I used the rear most mounting holes in the unibody rails
(this moves the crossmember back about 2-2.5 inches). I then fabricated a flat
steel plate with 8 holes. 4 to bolt to the original crossmember and 4 for the
transmission mount. This will now drop the rear of the transmission about
1/4" but if your installing any type of air shocks or new springs in the rear it
will not throw off the pinion angle too much. If you think this 1/4" drop is
too much, then make a second plate with just 4 holes in it and put it between
the transmission mount and the adapter plate. Now the reverse rod will not hit
anything. Remember, you will now need a speedo cable about 6-8" longer than
the original 3-speed cable. The gear end going into the T-10 tranny is the same
as the one in your original 3-speed. American Performance Parts in Cocoa,
Florida custom made mine (I sent them my old one and they reused the ends and the
firewall grommet). It works fine.             Gary,  'The Mix'  in Cleveland,
