I got my jig made to hold the glove box door for primeing and got it primed while watching the Craftsman truck race yesterday afternoon. Them Toyjota trucks had the first 5 starting spots and dominated a good part of the race, but old Bobby Hamilton put the Chrome Horn to Mike Skinner and his tojo special on the last lap to win with his Dodge. This morning I will go out and install the Hornet hood emblem as I glued the center in yesterday with silicone seal and baked it over night in my dehydrator. This afternoon I will sand the primed glove box door and put one coat of flat black enamel and 2 coats of gloss black enamel base coats on it. It will then dry for a 7-10 days and it will get a final sanding with 600# sandpaper and a 2 finish coats of gloss black. I am finally seeing some progress with all these dash pieces starting to be completed. YAHOOOOOOOOO. I got roughly a month till my hopefully mid-April installation date. "Doc"
