Yea, I know it isn't very big, but I was planning to ship it along > with the spare dash I have...............so much for that suprise! > > Rick I'm speechless, I don't know what to say except thank you. You made an old man very happy. You got to let me pay you for it or at least the shipping. It will be an easy job as far as I am concerned haveing all the parts repaired/refinished and ready to install even with my disabilitys with my son's help to change the whole dash in one day or two on a weekend. I have learned how to pace myself and have learned not to over due. Tomorrows always another day. The big deal to me is I don't have to lay the car up for more than a weekend. Even before I got the new Hornet and only had the one Hornet my Chevy beater only got used maybe 2-3 times a month. My cars are drivers and I plan on driveing the new one as much as I can. The yellow one is going to get it;s disc brake conversion this spring. I had the whole dash out of my yellow Hornet a few years ago when I restored it but it was just paint and cleaning nothing major and while I had it out I put a new heater core in it to since it was so easy to get to at that time. Today I will have to look in my files and see what Auto Meter tac I used in the yellow Hornet and order me one for the new Hornet. It fits the hole where the clock goes like it was factory. I just have to fab. a custom mounting bracket which is no big deal. Thanks again Rick, I owe you big time. "Doc"
