I meant have you ever seen the 3 hole gauge face with the machine turned overlay. I have a gremlin X and every gremlin X I have ever seen has a 2 hole machine overlay. I would love to put a 3 hole in my 72 X but I don't want to give up my nice overlay.
Yes, Davis, Gremlins did come with the 'machined' turned face. However, I do not know why some came with it or not. I have owned Gremlins with and without the turned overlays, seems the X usually got that, but as shown in that photo before this, not all came with that, so I do not know why some Gremlins, and Gremlin X's came with, or without that, which stretched not only on the gauge overlay, but also on the glovebox overlay too! Note if any of ya'll want a NOS "X" emblem for the dash, Larry Fonk or Larry Rohde, not sure which, but one of them usually has one on ebay for $7, I just bought one, all it is is a tiny metal piece with sticky tape AMC used to shove in the retangular "Gremlin" and "Hornet" emblem in the dash glovebox door! worth picking up one if you need while they are still around.
Both guys are listed on my vendors list on the website.
