Really sorry to hear about your
wife's ill's...I know Ive been there many a time...Im glad to hear she is better
now though. I have to pick up a '73 Grem' Saturday that is supposed to be
solid....I have to get down there to get it Sat. AM and am as of this
moment Im SOL....the engine in my truck finally blew and a replacementis
1.5 hrs away (paid for). Im trying to get in touch with my pal who has a hitch
on his car to no avail as well.
I dont have a roof rackor a
spolier; what trans. are you looking for? Please keep me in mind on your '73 as
my situation may not work out for the other one. Very Glad to meet another AMC
fanatic....as you know my '73 is my first AMC....Im also been into Pontiacsfor
15 years now and I wanted something different hence the Grem' sickness; which is
only gonna get worse.

I could use a roof rack and spoiler, and a tranny. I have 0
dollars at the moment though. Wife was in the hospital and we missed workso
money is tight. I also have not been on line much. My Wife is better now had
kidney stone removed yesterday and we will be returning to work. I have even
considered selling my 70 amx, and my 73 gremlin.........what
is happening to me!!!! I also have a 69 amx to pick up still owe 500 for that
one. I am sooooooo addicted to AMC......... it is a definite sickness we all
share together.

Let me know if you run out of space. I may take some of the
parts off you. I have a 73 gremlin I was going to convert to v-8. It has
no motor or tranny. I just got the correct v-8 X member for it and ithas
a mustang 8" rear in it. I too am on the fence about selling it or
building it.

I apologize for not getting back to you as
I was on the fence as to if I wanted to selll at the time and have
henceforth decided to remove all the useable parts; V8 stuff included
and send the rest to the scrapyard....I saw Justin's request and figured
that since I was at it I could cut the piece out for him.
After removing the good
sheetmetal off the front; I saw that at one point it was involved in a
collision and it is alot more rotted than I thought and you know the
sheetmetal situation for these cars.
Another reason it will be easier for me to find a solid shell and swap
everything over. I was also informed I can no longer keep the Grem'at
my Mom's boyfriends house and I have to get it moved or he'll send that
and my '69 Lemans to the Junkyard. So, I had to make a
choice...
I will be saving anyrhing of use though;
space providing.
