I called about my other 500 buttons yesterday and they are still on back order. I taped the hatch upholstery template to the hatch and drilled and threaded the screw holes to mount the panel on. I picked up 20 stainless screws and trim washers for mounting it. I also had to make 20 plastic washers to go under the stainless trim washers so they would not cut into the vinal when the screw is tightened up. Luckily I have all sorts of assorted thicknesses of sheet plastic I use in my model building. It still was a pain and took me 3 hours to make them. Today the panel gets installed for a test fit and next week the inside of the hatch gets painted and the panel permanently installed. I have the new hatch area side and rear panels to make next and some plastic parts to still paint. I am also splitting the hidden compartment door and making prop rods for them. The end brackets for the doors need to be removed and sand blasted and painted. Also I am installing a new 60's style fuel tank vent from the roll over valve eliminating the lines and charcoal canister. "Doc" ------------------------ Yahoo!
