[BaadAssGremlins] Found on the .net 6

Next came a 1974 AMC Gremlin with the 258-6. This was my first hot-
rod project as weird as it seems. The 258 was a pretty powerful
inline 6 that had a ton of torque. My after-school savings went into
a Clifford Research 4 bbl intake with a re-jetted Holley 600 carb.
Hooker made some really cool tri-y headers that I installed. These
were dual collector headers that each worked 3 of the cylinders. Very
cool and dumped into glasspacks with side exit in front of the rear
wheels. My friend Mike and I replaced the rear end with a salvaged
'69 camaro setup with 4.11s and as was popular at the time, air
shocks, shackles and Lakewood traction bars. Luckily I lived just
down the road from a local drag racer who had his own shop. I can't
remember his name, but he saw me working on the car in my driveway
and stopped to offer his help. Turns out he was a super-tuner and
setup the Holley and re-curved my distributor. By the time he was
done tuning the car it would run 13.5 in the quarter. My first
Mustang killer.
