If it is just dented you just use normal body and fender dent repair procedures, although like the rocker panels the metal is slightly thicker than a fender or quarter panels sheet metal. BillThe piece you're asking about is called the front valance and that "sinking" feeling is justified. It is spot welded to the front supports and gives the body strength. You would have to drill or grind all the spot welds to get the piece off.Can you just repair the dent with the piece in place?Rick
