Re: [BaadAssGremlins] 1973 Hornet bumpers

Like I said them on year only parts are a pain to find. The quarter
panel ends and rear pan on the 74 is the same as the 73 but with a
different bumper the rubber filler and the mounting brackets, a 73
bumper would probably bolt right up with all the bracket's and hardware
on a 74. Thanks John on the tip on th 77 AMX flairs and front spoiler I
got off of eBay. I didn't think I would ever see another complete set
again. This was only the second set I have seen for sale with the front
spoiler intact in the 4 years I have been on line. Like I said I have
become accustomed to the 5 mph 74 rear bumper after 30+ years on my
yellow car so unless I find a rear bumper with all the hardware it will
stay and the chance of finding 2 is almost non-existent.

Bart,

Like Doc said...the 73 came stock with the
70-72 rear bumper unless you ordered the
optional version that added the filler panel
and the stand-off pistons.

My '73 Hornet doesn't have it either.
