What reproduction parts? Them flairs and air dam and rear spoiler are rarer than the ones from the Hornet or Concord AMX. Mechanical parts should be no problem, its the cosmetic parts that will be a pain. How much is the budget? "Doc" ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Yahoo! Autos. Okay, who lives close enough to the author (in Vermont?) to go over
and help him out with this project? He may get a shock when he finds
out how much some of the AMC reproduction parts cost him (compared
to Ford, etc. stuff). He didn't specify what his budget was for the
car (only <$50,000 was mentioned). I agree with Doc: this is a real
interesting series of articles coming up on this car! I will be
reading them. -Lu-

from personal experience you never know what you are going to find
wrong with a 25 year old car. I figured i'd have to spend 1,500-2,000
$ on my clean 500$ Hornet for tires and repairs. I'm into it now for
around 4,500$.

instead of the magazine. It will be interesting to see the progress
since it will be "low buck".
