I agree with everyone else that you have to have the motor plates from a
small car. Gavins/ Galvins can't remember the proper spelling sells repo
small car plates. So having to look for those so called rare parts and
paying through the nose is not necessary any more.

Folks i am finally getting back to building my gremlin after the Hurricane mess and have a question concerning the factory steel plate motor mounts that came with all 66-69 Rambler Americans,Rogues & S/C Ramblers 70-77 Hornets,72-76 Gremlins,78-79 Concords and 79 Spirits.i have a V8 crossmember in my 73 that started life as a 232 I6  but no steel motor mounts that were special to that crossmember.can i get away with using ones from a reg V8 pass. AMC 67-78?any help with my question will be greatly appreciated
