RE: [BaadAssGremlins] Gremmie speedo gear wanted

I believe I can help. I've made a cross reference from the old part numbers to the new ones. For instance, I cross referenced my tire size with the old AMC part# and crossed that with the new #s from Dodge. It worked out that the gear I needed was the same for a 1990 Dodge truck with 727 tranny. Now my speedo is correct, YAY!

This should work for 904/727 trannies.

I thought I'd posted something about this earlier, maybe not. Anyway, it all depends on tire size and rear ratio. Check out Below.

I'll email the guy directly.

Old AMC part#'s
			Tire Size (Diameter)
Ratio:	24" 26" 28" 30"
2.76 2538930	2538928	2538926	2538924
2.94 2538932	2538930	2538928	2538926
3.21 2538935	2538933	2838931	2838929
3.55 2538939	2538936	2538933	2538931
3.91 2538943	2538940	2538937	2538935
4.10 2538945	2538942	2538939	2538936
4.30 2538944	2538941	2538938

Dear eddiestakes,

I am looking for a speedometer gear for a 904 with approx 35-39 teeth. Needs
to be about four inches long. Do you have any suggestions. Need for my 1977
Gremlin.
