Hey John I am a Chebby fan. They make great winter beaters, are cheap to buy and easy to fix and parts are readily available and cheap too. Since 1979 I have had 2 1971 Chebby's an Impala and a Kingswood Estate wagon and one Puick Skylark wagon. My current Chebby is a 77 Malibu Landau Classic. It is killing my Chebby fiends as I use it as a beater because it is on the Classic's & Collectable list. I bought it from the original owner who was a little old lady that drove by the brail system, it already had a terminal case of rot covered by mucho plastic and a new paint job and the asking price was 1,700$. I bought it for 350$. I have had it for 9 years and spent 1,000$ for parts on it and that includes 4 new tires. Not bad for a dependable beater for 9 years. AMC content, all these Chebby's kept my yellow Hornet from seeing only 4 N.Y. winters and my new orange Hornet from seeing the last one. "Doc" ------------------------ Yahoo! Doc,
No, that's not a remedy. That's a temporary relief
of the symptoms that does not address the affliction.
To date, there is no cure. All we can do is beg our
families to understand that it's a disease, and that
blame doesn't help anyone. It must be coped with.
But just like there are worse versions of herpes and
and hepatitis, there's always that really horrible
condition known as .....Chevyfan! Those poor bastards!!
