I just got an E-Mail from a friend in Louisiana and he said they got 5 inches of rain in a couple of hours yesterday. Luckily for him he has not had anything but some strong winds for a short period of time and lots of rain with the usual minor flooding. It was sunny and warm here yesterday. however, woke up this morning and Matthew had formed in the Gulf just east
of us, and is headed your way. Last time I ever mix those two. Batter down
the hatches again, looks like this one will be a big rain event for anything
from New Orleans thru mid Florida. Amazingly enough, we are on the clean
side here in Houston, light northeast winds, sunny, absolutely stunning day
today, so sorry for the inconvienence headed ya'lls
way.............again.........:~P))
