[BaadAssGremlins] Results Of The Paint Stripper Test On The 77 AMX Flairs

The 77 Hornet AMX flairs I recently bought off of eBay were painted. I
found out that they were painted with Dupont Centari Enamel with a
lacquer primer.
I tried SEM Bumper Stripper and it works fine without damaging the
flairs. Of course it took 3 coats and a little scrubbing with a fine
brass bristle brush but it works and didn't damage the flair.
Luckily I got 3 extra flairs in the deal and I had a mint unpainted one
to replace a damaged painted one, which I used for the test. Of course
this SEM is not cheap at 13$ for a 17 oz. can at the local Sherman
Williams Auto Paint supply store. I will have to dig out an Eastwood
Restoration catalog and see what they charge. I will estimate how many
cans I need and order them. They usually have a discount on 3 or more
can's on the SEM. Even with the shipping and no sales tax it should be
cheaper than buying it locally.
