Scott I have been building model cars since 1957 and have over 400 built
kits and 200 unbuilt ones. In the last 2 years I have been strictly been
building AMC's since I got my eBay account. I am on an Ambo tear right
now and just finished a resto on a 67. I bought one decent one and a
parts car to do that one. I have a 68 & a 69 under construction right
now. I just received after 9 months new decals for the partially built
AMT Gremlin F/C I was restoring. I have 2 un-restorable cars, a 69 AMX
and a 77 Gremlin that I was thinking about making an AMX 11 and a Marlin
body along with an original 64 American to use to make a Tarpon. Model
building has been on the slow side as I have for the last year as I have
been working mainly on my new Hornet and also the original one. I have a
Rebel Machine all painted and it has new decals made for me buy a friend
in Pa. but I haven't worked on it in 7-8 months. I have never attended a
model car show. I just build for my own pleasure.

I would not be surprised if that old AMT Gremlin Funny Car gets
reissuied here in the next few years. The Model King is doing some
of the old funny cars (altered wheel base models) again. Maybe if we
contact him he might consider doing the stock version also. All the
Gremlin kits are bringing good money in the last few years. Hell, 
all the old AMC kits bring good money around my area. Maybe you guys
would want to pool some money and have ERTL make the Gremlin and we
sell them. LOL Yea DOC I'm into model cars (BIG TIME). I went to the
NNL EAST last year, do you go to that show? Remember I'm from IL.
