I am in Maine my Mom is in the hospital and is not doing well. The
doctor gave her a 5 to 10 % chance. She could really use
everyones prayers.

Well Bart may have
battled Frances, but I had to take on Ivan. Lots
of tree damage and
debris to clean up. Some folks still without power
or phone (or cable if
that really matte! rs at a time like this). It
was still a category 1
when it hit us. Thanks for the dry Texas
winds, Eddie - that helped kill
Ivan for us. Sending what's left of
him your way, Doc. Our Veterans from
Bay Minette (Mobile bay area)
old soldier's home (or whatever the PC
word is for it now) are still
here along with their dependents and pets.
We are feeding and
sheltering them all until they are allowed to return
home, hopefully
only a few more days. The hood of the Gremlin ended up
on the side of
the house (guess I should have tied it down), otherwise
it is still
standing. I parked the other vehicles in the street and am
glad I did
as the driveway is plastered with limbs, pine cones, and
debris.
Guess I better get my chainsaw & rake out. -Lu-
