Doc. I totally agree about the Delco style alternators. I gave up and  tossed the Motorola style from my 67 Ambassador after FOUR different ones were junk from the CarQuest store. Bolted on a power master(aftermarket version of Delco)and i   LOVE IT!!!!! You can get them already machined to fit the stock AMC   brackets from Kennedy American!! Also have one ready for my Gremlin/401 conversion!! Don't think the CRAPPY Motorola would power my MSD 6AL box and distributor anyway!! Joe
