I am lucky as the wife doesn't drive, and I have 3 cars. If I were in
your shoes I would try to explain to the husband that the Neon will not
ever be a collector car and only be worth less and less as time goes by.
The Gremlin is a collector car and the values of some AMC's especially a
unique car like the Gremlin are going  up. But then again I do
understand your situation. I been married to the same woman for almost
37 years. :-(

Hey, you know how it is when your other half cops an
attitude about these things.  :)  Since my husband
made more than half of the payments on the Neon and
pays for the repairs, I stopped arguing about putting
the Gremlin in the garage.  It's usually parked in our
huge outbuilding which keeps most of the weather off
of it (but not the bird poop).
