Ok, on my master cyl. I have a line running out of that to the rear brakes and a separate line running to the front. I need to tie these two lines together?

the proportioning valve goes -between- the frt and rear, and yes you
should have it for best brake performance.  the manufacturers wouldn't
have wasted money on a part they didn't need.

btw and fwiw, if you have front disks, 14x6" hornet/concord wheels
will definitely fit without problems.  15x7" mopar steelies would
likely fit, with something like 215/60s, if you wanted to go that way.
