Saw one at the Charlotte Auto Fair this weekend. Right at $1000 and only 
good for cars up to 3000 pounds. Americans, Gremlins, Hornets, maybe 
Javelin, but Ambos and Mats, even my 63 Classic, top 3000 pounds.

The OEM units are to highly integrated. You'd have to use the whole 
steering column.
