Re: [AMC-list] VW commercial with Gremlin?

The commercial you mention was called 'is it fast? by Volkswagen and yes, does feature a Gremlin in opening of commercial. The music of course is provided by Motor City Madman Ted Nugent with 'Stranglehold'.......

Neat commercial, best part is the Gremlin, and of course the humor (humour if Canadian eh) how many of you have ever went to a car lot to hear the BS like that thru decades!

Yup it's a Gremlin. VW Payback? On "The Middle" Sue Heck's wrestler boyfriend drives a 77/78 Gremlin. Made to look junkie of course. Would be nice to for once have a Nice cool one.

Hey has anybody seen the new VW commercial that goes through different years with different modes of transportation all the way up to the guy with baby asking how safe the VW is? It starts out in what appears to be the 70's, music I believe is Ozzie Osbourne "Stranglehold" and I swear at first glance the first segment shows the ass end of a Gremlin driving down the road. You just catch the back and taillights. Am I nuts?? AMC criticized the VW in a ton of ads in print back in the 70's!!! The Gremlin was always made out to be better.
Now they are kissin couzins??? WTF!!!
