Well, I think 15-inch wheels were last used (as standard equipment) on AMC 
sedans in 1962.  They were used on the Classics but the Ambos that year (same 
body as the Classic)  got 14-inch wheels.  

I know that on the standard big-car 15-inch wheels 195 or 205 x 70 x 15 tires 
fit fine.  They look decent too, without giving off that street rod vibe.
