[AMC-list] Stock Intake Dimensions

Hello all,

I hope you are having a good weekend.

I'm just wondering, as I do not have a stock intake laying around for my 1968 AMX 390 with 72 dog-leg heads, does anyone know the height dimension of the 1970 and up intake manifold? The reason I ask is that I'd like to keep the stock look of the engine, including being able to use the stock aircleaner box, and as many of us know, if you add a performance intake such as the R4B the hood does not close with the stock aircleaner box due the to added inch in height of this intake. 

Since I've added some internal performance goodies to my engine, I'd like to go with an intake that has at least more performance abilities than the stock intake (to match up with the performance parts), but has the same height dimensions so that I can keep the stock look. So along with the height measurement does anyone know of an aftermarket intake that has the same dimensions as stock(offenhauser maybe?).
