  Once again thanks for the tire suggestions from
various folks.  i went w/the BFG Radial/TAs,
right size & as Joe Fulton mentioned,  Americas-Tire =
Discount Tire in these parts, and they had them in town.

    thanks for the suggestion.  i used the BFG Radial/TAs in the 80s,
and i did like their look.   didn't realize 14s were getting rare.

The BF Goodrich Radial T/A's aren't bad.  Summit Racing 
(www.summitracing.com) still has them in your size, part number BFG-64077. 
It's pretty hard finding any 14's these days.
