Ken, that small Holley 4V should be pretty economical. Just put a stronger spring in the vacuum secondary chamber if you have trouble staying out of it. I'm assuming, of course, that it's a vacuum secondary carb (390 cfm, maybe?). If it's a 390 double pumper just disconnect the secondaries.

At the moment the car has a Holley 4 barrel with appropriate manifold. It was on
the car when I bought it. It ran OK until something broke in the clutch. I was
thinking about getting it back on the road as an 'economical' Eagle.
