[AMC-list] Modern car from an old one

A while back I remember a post about a project.
The car was, I believe, a Marlin.
The project was converting the car to appear as if Marlins had been in
production all this time,
and it was the current version of the car.
A completely updated version.
Any body have any information or photos about this project?
