Re: [AMC-list] What Did You Do for your AMCs this weekend?

I walked back and forth past AMC's,
I should go down and spend an hour or so cleaning my shop.
I hate the current situation of running tools back and
forth across the house from shop to parking garage.
Oh,well. I have my bumper brackets layed out to put the 64 rear
bumper on the front of my 69, just need to clean up a bit before I
  start.

Anyone have any ideas as to where to place parks/turns once the
bumper ones are gone? I'm thinking flex strips of Amber LED's
between the grille bars. Perhaps one for park and two, one above one below the park strip?
Side marker led's will go in the end bolt holes the rear bumpers have.

Put 4 new rotors on the "new" 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R
Blocked sanded the new brake pads my dad or his co-worker put on it
when it came to the lot. I thought the rotors could be resurfaced.
Thankfully I ran my hand over the backside of the front rotors and
felt the grooves. Yes, My dad has been known to do that as
"you can't see the backside". I give him slack on this as the dealership
is now closed and he hasn't been working on cars in several years.
He's also soon to be 81.
Rockauto to the rescue on the rotors and the heating fan resistor!
$121 total.
Still off topic, I test drove it and found that a 2800lb Sentra to
be quite zippy when stabbing the gas pedal. 2.5L with variable valve timing and
split intake ports with butterflys to open above a set rpm.
I also found the rear tires to be shot, good tread, but cracking sidewalls, bummer :(

(On Topic, Tom J talked about a Nissan based swap years back into a 62 American body.
I believe if it could be pulled off it would create a rather fun to drive car.)
