For rust conversion/protection POR-15 might be okay, but if you're talking about tank lining inside DO NOT use the POR-15 kit! If you don't have 100% coverage fuel can get behind the lining and cause the POR-15 to separate from the metal, leaving you with a "bag" inside a now leaking tank. I ruined one tank by using such a kit. It says good for up to a 20 gallon tank, but it wasn't! A smaller tank light be okay, but you MUST get 100% coverage! For tank lining I use Hirsch products.
