I can heartily recommend that anyone with a 1980 AMC (spriit, concord, eagle) etc. purchase the 1980 Service manual supplement you have listed.  That supplement has much clearer wiring diagrams than the hand lettered wiring diagrams in the 1980 Service manual.  The earlier wiring diagrams are largely unreadable.  I can imagine that AMC got a lot of flack over those earlier drawings.  Also, if you plan to keep the electronic BBD carb, get the CEC manual Richard is offering.  Cheap at twice the price.
