Re: [AMC-list] Lincoln Continental Brakes

I have a set of flatplates that a forum user had waterjet cut for me.
They are designed to mount the 98? bare rotor with 82-83 AMC calipers.
Now, at the time they seemed to be a good idea.
Now Scarebird has some nice kits.
For my plates, since I already have them, they should use a drum spindle and either the lincoln rotors turned down to almost minimum thckness, or, I have since been told front rotors from a
2002 2wd explorer are a great fit. I have everything but the rotors so I will use what I have.

Starting from scratch there is a crapload of info on disc swaps on both amc forums.
Want to buy and bolt on? Scarebird is the best "low" cost "kit", hands down.
