There is always good old fashioned sheets of ABS. 
   Black and fairly inexpensive. 
Can't find it local? Try a sign shop.  
I actually have four fairly large sheets I got for free. 
   They apply vinyl lettering on it. When the need is gone they toss it.

There may be a trade off between flexible enough to survive bumps and rigid
enough to do the job at highway speed.
