Re: [AMC-list] NAMDRA, T14 &

" From: Ken Ames <ameskg@xxxxxxxxx>
"
" T-14 has a 6 bolt top cover. The sorta 'D' shaped shifter bosses are on the side.

top cover is also perfectly rectangular, and bellhousing bolt pattern
[6 1/8" x 5 1/8"?] and retainer size [4.25"] are the same as t-96, if
you're familiar with them. input spline is too.

i wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't say 'warner' or 'wg' or 'bw'
somewhere on it.

" The 150T has a 9 bolt top cover and the shifter bosses are full circles.

top cover has divots in front corners; bolt pattern is big ford
rectangle, 8.5"w x 6.5"h +/-; retainer is ~4.85" dia.

you might find a pic online by looking for 'ford 3sp', b/c that's what
it is. they used it from ~'65 up through the end of the '70s. it's
also virtually identical in appearance to the toploader 4sp, which
it's closely related to.

the t150 is physically much bigger than the t14, but you wouldn't see
that unless you had both side-by-side.

only other 3sp amc used since '68 were t-96 with 4-bolt top cover and
t-15 which looks like scaled-up t14, with 6-bolt top cover but long
1.125" input, 4.64" retainer, and 5.75" x 6.25" bolt pattern.
