Should fit by following the same recipe as the 65. The 232 was introduced in the 64 Classic, so they knew it was coming. To swap into 65 you need Cross member and mounts, or make your own. Water pump and pulley, short used in 64-65 Americans and early 70's cj jeeps. Flip the radiator brackets to move the rad forward. The auto trans from the 64 may work as-is or you may need to do a converter swap. The starter was moved out from crank center line to clear the block. Manual trans? Probably needs a fly wheel and bell swap, but. I'm not sure.
