I wonder if it's like the MGB a co-worker sold to his girlfriend a
long time back. He disconnected the odometer. Put a LOT of miles on
it. Then sold it to his girlfriend at a fairly steep, over-inflated
price. The car lasted a few months. Their wedding lasted just a little
bit longer.
