Re: [AMC-list] American wagons...

There is such a kit! Well, almost. The front crossmember needs some minor mods to fit the 63-66 "frame" width in front, but otherwise mods should be minimal to the HRTH G-body kit (http://www.hotrodstohell.net/truckarm/truckarm_gbody/truckarm_gbody.htm). The "truck arm" pivot crossmember is black in the photo, not the red one under the trans. A pre-93 Ranger rear axle would work wonderfully with this set-up.

I may be getting a 65 Ambassador this winter, still talking with a friend who has it about it. It's been sitting and he's not likely to do anything with it. If nothing else I will use it to mock-up a "truck arm" kit next summer, but plan on turning it into a NASCAR clone of the one that ran a few races from Charlotte in 65.

Sure do wish someone would build a bolt or weld in truck arm setup for Ambos... The four link or ladder bars thing does not appeal much to me, unless it is done with bushings. I don't want rod ends on the street.
