I think it is torsion bars, forgot about that! My main point was that the FOR Twin Traction Beam and early Jeep IFS both use a single u-joint to "break" the axle in the center and don't change camber at the wheel end. The u-joint at the wheel is for turning only. That's the ONLY similarity they have -- I think that's what Peter was pointing out, how the suspension is held on and sprung is very different between the two.
