[AMC-list] Getting ready for first trip with Rambler and Apache Eagle

I posted on THEAMCFORUM, but since sometimes I'm a forum guy, and
sometimes I'm an e-mail guy, and sometimes I just ignore everything(!)
- I figured I'd post to the list.

My youngest son and I are getting ready for the first trip with our
Rambler sedan and Apache Eagle as a pair. We camped out in the Eagle a
couple times. We drove around in the Rambler a bunch of times. But I
finally put the trailer hitch on the Rambler (thanks Frank), got a 4
prong flat connector installed - and we're getting ready to go.

I painted the Apache in a light blue lacquer (Duplicolor aerosol - I
know - cheesy). I did a TON of pounding and filling and sanding. I
still need to wet sand the paint with 1500 and hit it with rubbing
compound to get a shine - but it's good enough for now.

Grocery shopping tonight. Haircuts in the morning (dang wimmin-folk!).
