that 'input shaft housing' is called the front bearing retainer, and
the 5.0 t5's is the same size as the amc t150 3sp and jeep t177 4sp
which used the multipattern bell.  also, 4-cyl ford t5 retainers may
be the smaller amc/gm diameter.

likewise, easy to solve the ford pilot bearing problem with a t150-app
