I believe when Ray mentions eddy current, he means have the block Sonic
Tested. Using sonic testing, it can be determined what the wall thickness of
the cylinders are and an educated decision can be made on the over bore. Be
aware that too much over bore can create over heating problems. One of the
last issues of Car Craft had a 401 Stroker build. They offset ground the
crank and used some type of chevy rod with a smaller journal diameter. Sorry
I can't remember the displacement numbers they got.
