[AMC-list] Wheel stud

I converted my 70 AMX from drum brakes all the way around to front disc.  I got the rotor from a doner AMC car, but I am not sure which one.  The rotor and caliper etc all fit fine.  I replaced the original 14 x 6 wheels with 15 x 7  magnum 500's.  I am using the two spacers on the front wheels.  The problem is that I would really be much more comfortable with a stud that was a little longer (maybe 1/4").  I do not have the exact diameter of the stud.  It is 7/16" thread.  Before I go any further, has anyone run into this problem?  Any advice?
