They're likely to be Gates if they aren't Goodyear or Dayco. FWIW, I 
can't use those brands on my 78 El Camino either. The hose ends up 
hitting the A/C belt when the engine torques over. I guess Gates is the 
only brand that thinks A/C on older cars is a good idea.
