Re: [AMC-list] Spirit Upper Radiator Host

The problem is that the leg on the thermostat end was too short on some
brands of hoses, and the hose then would not clear the A/C belt. If you
don't have A/C; you won't have any problems. If you do have A/C, be sure
the hose is long enough on that end. I have personally had past issues with
both Goodyear and Dayco hoses lately; but no issues with the big parts-house
chain's house-brand hoses (wonder who makes those??).

Subject: [AMC-list] Spirit Upper Radiator Host

My upper radiator hose sprung a leak on the way to work. I remember there
was an issue with the replacement hoses not fitting correctly. Did anyone
every find one that works? This is an 83 Spirit with a 258.

Thanks,

Todd
