i'm not sure you'd need the m-II susp; amc crammed a 390 in there, and
both the 4.7 and hemi fit where the 5.2/5.9 mopar went, in the grand
chero, though i don't think the la block is particularly compact - but
it ought to be smaller than the amc.

525 hp / 510 ft-lbs has a certain appeal...
