Re: [AMC-list] what's up with this?

Some of the book sellers are like car sellers -- they see one listing at a high price and follow suit, or it's a book they've never seen or heard of and assume it's rare and valuable. None of those would be on my "must have" list for AMC books, though the AMX/Javelin Portfolio is a good one for those models. That's not to say they aren't good AMC books, especially if you're mainly into the muscle cars. All of those should sell in the $20-$30 range as used books, I'd think -- about what they retailed for new. They aren't really rare books, just out of print.

I have AMC Buyers Guide; AMX/Javelin Portfolio;Amazing AMC Muscle; and AMC Muscle Cars. I did some e-bay searched to see what price to ask. Can anyone tell me why I found 3 of Larry Mitchells books listed at $140+ !?! What gives? I know it is a good book, but what so much more than the others? Wow! Also wondering what you think the asking price of the others should be?
