Greg,

You may want to ask about powdercoated springs, remember they do flex, maybe
not enough to crack paint, but maybe enough. I'm not sure, anyone else have
an opinion? I found a flexible kind of paint at the local hardware store. It
has a dull finish. It's been on the front springs of the Javelin for about
four years now, with no signs of flaking or peeling or cracking. I did bead
blast the original springs before painting.
