the only difference on cranks on the 196's is in late 62/early 63. they
changed the end of the crank a little bit. maunals, dont make a difference,
flywheel fits both. autos, the flexplates/converter are a little different.
thats why they changed them. they changed the converter or something in
there. the motor alone should just drop right inplace of the other one. just
swap flywheel and flexplate/converter.
