I use water from a garden hose, usually when I first get a car and carpets and seats are out, you can run a hose down or towards those impossible spaces and (1) the original drains drip so you can find them and (2) unplugged with a piece of wire, run the hose until water runs clear gets the fully empty. It's not just water that ruins them, it's water and ions (salt etc) over long period of time that ruins them. Hosed out, vents open then dried in a day or a week is fine, and the net gain is huge. It gets all the dust out that a vacuum can't. I did this in Massachusetts too, it's not just a "California" trick. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
