[AMC-list] 196 Valve guide seals

I love my '62 Classic with 196 engine and 3-speed OD. I have been noticing blue smoke on start-up, especially after a long run on the highway. This is likely the valve guide seals, right? How tough are they to change without removing the head? What is the procedure? Winter looks like a good time to tackle this project. (FYI, the 196 is a 41K original mile motor that appears to have never been apart)

Also, I need one bumper guard for my car. Anyone have a parts car with one they would part with? I prefer nice original without digs and rust. Thanks in advance.
