i found on feebay, a backup light kit for 61-63 americans. mine dont have
them. where exactly would they go? i have no holes in mine where i see they
would go. would you drill holes right below the tail lighs to mount them?
debating if i should get or not.

There is a photo in the Group 15 catalog book showing back up lights, as the Rambler wagon 
shonw is fixing to back over a kids wagon and bike! It says "BACK UP LIGHTS: go on 
automatically when you shift into reverse gear...provide the illumination you require for 
greater visibility and increased safety after dark.....warn pedestrians of your intention 
to back up."

The wagon shown, like many doctored photos in brochures, this one shows the back up lights 
in the bottom of those cathedral type tailights. In the photo however, they are BRIGHT, 
like halogens shining on the kid's stuff. They were really not that bright in real life, 
but in the photo you can see for miles as the Who song goes. If you need a photo of this, 
email me directly and will send you small jpeg of it. Go ahead and buy them off fee-bait, 
just finding them after 45+ years is a treat in itself whether you end up using them or 
not.
